About me

I have always loved to work with my hands, being creative and able to fulfill my ideas has always been a very important part of my life.

I was born in April 1971 in the oldest wine producing town in Franken, Germany.

There I attended the local collage and went on to learn the trade of Gastronomy, upon further education I gained a degree in cooking and patisserie.
This led to me opening a hotel, specializing in patisserie and ice creams in a busy market in the centre of our town.
Our reputation was for colorful creations ranging from tradition favorites to the more unusual shapes and figures. Our artistically airbrushed or decorated cakes were each to the specific design of our customers.

Over the next 25 years and the birth of my two daughters, Lina in 1999 and Mia 2007, I was finally able to follow my dream and enroll again in university to become a Goldsmith…!

After four years of intensive studying and on the job training I qualified first place in the Goldsmith exam and was presented an awarded by the Bavarian Prime Minister.

Since May 2013 I have moved to Portugal with my family and already have my own workshop up and running.
